The Galien Foundation has named Rubedo Life Sciences among its 2026 Prix Galien USA nominees for Best Startup, recognizing the company's work identifying and treating diseases driven by aging biology and inflammaging.
The Prix Galien is often described as the Nobel Prize of biopharmaceutical research. Established in Paris in 1970, it now operates through 16 chapters across more than 75 countries, and 2026 marks the 20th anniversary of its USA edition. Nominees are selected on science and health impact alone, with sales data excluded from consideration. The committee behind this year's Best Startup category includes Kenneth Frazier, former Chairman and CEO of Merck, Alex Gorsky, former CEO of Johnson & Johnson, and Elias Zerhouni, former Head of Global R&D at Sanofi.
Winners will be announced at the Prix Galien USA Awards Ceremony in New York on October 29, 2026.
