Ani Biome Achieves Dual Recognition at XPRIZE Healthspan and FSHD Challenges

We are happy to share that Ani Biome, a LongeVC portfolio company, is the only team globally selected both as a semi-finalist in the XPRIZE Healthspan competition and as a finalist in the SOLVE FSHD Bonus Prize challenge.

The recognition comes with $500,000 in funding, awarded to support Ani Biome’s AI-powered approach to extending healthspan and tackling age-related muscular decline. With more than 600 teams participating from 58 countries, the dual selection underscores the clinical and technological strength behind Ani Biome’s platform.

Led by Nika Pintar and Bruno Balen, the team is proving that true innovation lives at the intersection of systems biology, real-time data, and translational focus.

Both competitions are ongoing. Ani Biome remains in the running for the next round of selection in the Healthspan competition, where 10 finalists will be named in 2026, as well as the SOLVE FSHD grand prize.
