LongeVC Announces Two New Members Joining its Scientific Advisory Board

LongeVC has seen exciting growth and development over the past year. We have enjoyed supporting our portfolio and partner companies, working with new investors, and expanding our investments in early-stage innovation, such as through the creation of the Longevity Science Foundation. We are constantly looking for new opportunities, partnerships, and developments to secure LongeVC’s position at the forefront of the longevity and biotech investing industry. 
To continue pioneering with precision and skill in these sectors, LongeVC aims to build a network of forward-thinking minds that have their fingers on the pulse of all things crypto, biotech, and longevity.  As such, LongeVC is excited to welcome Prof. Dr. Evelyne Yehudit Bischof (Biskup), MD, MPH, FEFIM, and Prof. Dr. Mike Martin to its Scientific Advisory Board. The Board provides scientific advising on the most promising projects evaluated by LongeVC Investment Team Analysts across the globe. Currently, the LongeVC Advisory board consists of seven high-level professionals, including key opinion leaders from the private and academic sectors. Both Evelyne and Mike bring a wealth of experience and knowledge to help LongeVC navigate through this period of growth.

Evelyne Yehudit Bischof
Evelyne has accumulated a diverse and accomplished career in medicine and research and has held positions at some of the world’s most prestigious medical institutions. Evelyne is a certified specialist in internal medicine, with expertise in oncology and longevity medicine, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and digital health, precision medicine, biogerontology, and geronto-oncology.
Evelyne has spent over a decade studying, researching, and practicing medicine around the world, in Europe, the US, and China. She received medical training at leading institutions like Harvard University and Columbia University in New York City. Evelyne has contributed as a physician, lecturer, and researcher at prestigious universities and hospitals around the world, including the University Hospital of Zurich, University Hospital of Basel, Fudan Cancer Institute, Tongji University Hospital, Zhongshan Hospital, Renji Hospital, and Shanghai East Hospital. Evelyne is a Chief Physician Associate of internal medicine at University Hospital Renji of Jiaotong University Shanghai and serves as an executive concierge longevity physician with Human Longevity. Currently, Evelyne is also affiliated with the International Center for Multimorbidity and Complexity in Medicine (ICMC) and the Universität Zürich.  
Evelyne’s proximity to continuous cutting-edge research and innovation has allowed her to hone in on her talents and explore cutting-edge advancements in her field. She frequently speaks at scientific and medical conferences in Asia and Europe, has published over 80 peer-reviewed papers, and is a long-term member of various prominent medical societies. She sits on several scientific and advisory boards of biotech and longevity hubs, including serving as the Chairwoman of the Longevity Science Foundation Visionary Board. 

Mike Martin 
Mike has built an established reputation as a pioneer and leader in the research and development of the gerontology field, and we are thrilled to bring his insights to LongeVC. He has extensive career experience as a researcher, lecturer, and academic, tackling all aspects of aging and the human condition. He is passionate about healthy aging and the human psychology that underpins aging and the human experience, which aligns well with our mission to support the longevity sector to scale. Mike is an award-winning researcher and professor and has contributed significantly to the research behind understanding healthy longevity. 
Over the past two decades, Mike has published an impressive catalog of over 150 peer-reviewed papers covering healthy longevity, cognitive aging, lifespan development, as well as resources and skills to be used across the spectrum of life. Mike currently oversees the University of Zurich’s Research Priority Program (URPP) Dynamics of Healthy Aging, spearheading the university’s cutting-edge longevity research.
Mike has a track record of contributions to advisory boards across the academic, scientific, and longevity fields. His previous roles include serving on the Science Council of the Swiss Academy of Humanities and Social Sciences and the Advisory Board of the Max Planck Institute for Human Development. His experience with these organizations will help enrich the scientific review process conducted by the LongeVC team.
